Classic Missoula Wedding | Emma + Dylan

"My husband and I met on Bumble. He is from Australia and traveled to the United States on a golf scholarship. I am from a small town north of Spokane, WA. His mom suddenly passed away five months into our dating relationship and making it through that trauma with him truly bonded us for life. He proposed the next year at my parent's property where he set up a picnic and proposed with etched Guinness glasses that asked 'wWill you marry me?' on the bottom (Guinness was the beer I ordered on our first date, which is allegedly why he fell immediately in love. LOL.). We live in the Spokane Valley with our two crazy Bernese mountain dogs and this year he is able to go home to Australia for the first time in eight years!

I absolutely love Montana, and as a couple we shared our most fun exploratory dates there so we knew that was the ideal location for our nuptials. When I saw The White Raven I was immediately sold. I really wanted our wedding to be a great time for guests and embody who we are as an adventurous couple. We both made a very special effort to make our vows funny/unique, and they turned out so good. The party ended up having a mind of its own! I am entirely blaming the groom's whiskey bar, my sangria that packed a punch, and some out-of-control Pharmacy school friends! All of the vendors and our guests made it truly the best day of my life. The weather was absolutely perfect, and the food was beyond amazing. To this day people still tell me the wedding was the most fun wedding they have ever been to. My husband and I love to be light and fun so these compliments made all the stress of planning completely worth it." -Emma, the bride
