"Cam and I have known each other since high school. Even though our paths only crossed occasionally through the halls or mutual friends, I always had major heart eyes for Cam. But it wasn’t until quite a few years later after we both moved back to Billings, that we would run into each other while visiting Bozeman with friends and our paths collided. The connection was instantaneous. I remember when we were first starting to see each other a mutual friend of ours saying, “How has this never happened before?” “How are you guys just now getting together?” and it really did feel like we were always meant to be, “Kate and Cam.” I guess like they say, timing really is everything.

In the winter of 2017 we welcomed our son, Damon, into the world and into our hearts. We have spent the last couple of years buying and remodeling our first home, taking road-trips to see our favorite bands play live or visiting family, weekends in the mountains and many day trips for dirt bike rides. Last September while having a backyard camp-out, roasting hot dogs and s'mores by the fire, Cam asked me to be his wife. And I accepted – DUH!

Our day was truly shaped around ‘us’. We were so lucky to have a stellar group of vendors alongside of us that helped to bring that to life. We shared private vows prior to our small, intimate ceremony on family land with our closest family and friends that one of Cam’s best friends officiated for us. We planted a tree next to our ceremony site as a unity ceremony, that we can watch grow for years to come. We shared the rest of the evening with a larger group of friends and family at the Pub Station filled with a tattoo station, dancing, pizza and lots of love. –Katelyn, the bride
