As seen in Montana Bride magazine, Tatum and Chad's elopement is full of gorgeous florals, personalized details, and the most stunning venue. Photography by Montana Bride vendor Merissa Lambert Photography.
“I always had a crush on Chad – his dimples and charm had me in high school! Our story began with a friendship of many years before dating for six. Our love for each other grew with each new day of dating; the adventures of traveling and the chapters of our love story unfolded before our eyes. We believe with resounding truth, how effortlessly we joined paths is a testament to our compatibility and commitment to one another. Finding your soulmate and marrying your best friend is a gift.
The pandemic was the silver lining in our wedding; it was the hidden blessing within the storm, and it gave us pause and time to reflect and find what was truly important to us for our wedding day. Our vision was clear: a day of togetherness with our immediate family to celebrate our unconditional and unwavering love, coupled with simple elegance and timeless details. Foster Creek Farm provided Montana’s big sky backdrop, an intimate barn, and a deep sense of calm. Our vendors executed our vision perfectly, but above all, the kindness and hospitality we felt as a family solidified we were exactly where we were supposed to be on our wedding day.
I started my planning and inspirational search by purchasing a few copies of this magazine, Montana Bride. It gave me the perfect starting point to begin searching for wedding vendors’ work and details that I wanted to incorporate into our day. I would recommend reaching out to vendors immediately if you identify with their work because their schedules can book up months in advance. If we had waited a few more days with reaching out to our videographer, we would not have the video of our dreams to share with the ones we love. We planned with plenty of time to travel to Montana the summer before and meet with most of our vendors. It was important for us to get a feel for our venue and understand what it was going to look and feel like on our wedding day. Now looking back at our wedding with the pandemic, we truly appreciated what Montana had to offer for our magical day. If you are planning and traveling from out of state, make sure you write lists of everything you will need, so no detail is forgotten.” –Tatum, the bride
