Magical Woodland Wedding At The Cabins At Blacktail | Miranda + Miles

"It all started with an Instagram giveaway that seemed way too good to be true. Miles and I got engaged in April 2023 after four years together. We've traveled together, gone through COVID together, got our fur baby Huckleberry Finn, lived in a camper for 1.5 years (maybe our biggest accomplishment?), and during these past few years, he built us our home. We have built the most beautiful life together. When this giveaway came along, we both thought, 'Why not?' – so we entered. After following all the accounts (most of which I had already been following) and sending an email as to why he and I deserved to win, we kept our fingers crossed, but moved on with our own elopement planning.

A few months later, the vendors pulled off the ultimate surprise reveal. They communicated with our friends and family, and Miles and I walked in on what was supposed to be a family dinner to find all our loved ones there to celebrate with us that we had won the wedding giveaway! We were so shocked and elated – it took days for the news to sink in.

The planning process over the next few months was mostly kept secret from us, but I knew the vibe the team was going for and had seen their work – I trusted them completely. Miles and I were totally okay with less decisions to make. Throughout the process, all the vendors touched base often and were so friendly and kind. We even got to do an additional photoshoot where we went up into the woods by Hungry Horse Reservoir. We had such a great time with Dina and the pictures turned out so dreamy!

The day of the wedding went so perfectly. The Cabins at Blacktail is the perfect setting for a fall wedding. The vendors and their work absolutely blew us away. From the gorgeous floral arrangements, the beautifully crafted custom signs, the delicious dessert bar, the amazing custom cocktails, the lovely music – they really went for it. And the table setting, oh my goodness. Every detail was so thoughtful and it created a stunning woodland backdrop to our special day. A delicious and gorgeous dinner in the woods with all your people?! Sounds like a dream to me.

After the wedding, we received the most gorgeous photos and videos to remember and preserve the memories from our favorite day. Miles and I had the most perfect wedding day filled with love, friendship, and fun. We will be forever grateful to the generous vendors who did this for us and for their talent and creativity. I genuinely feel like the vendors involved in this project have become friends.
