Shannon + Drew began documenting their love with a chic engagement session set against the Billings cityscape. These sleek subtleties were followed by a whimsical, rustic wedding day in Red Lodge, Montana, with a gentle palette and delicate florals letting the rugged landscape speak for itself. "We were introduced by my brother while we were out boating one summer day. I had dropped a wrench in the lake that we needed to put fins on our surf boards, and luckily, Drew was also out on the water that day with his buddies…and a wrench.
While we were on a trip to Costa Rica, Drew bought a ring from a little shop on the beach, after he had my friend trick me into putting her ring on for size. He said it 'just felt like the right time', and he didn’t want to wait. We were walking the beach at sunset with a pack of stray puppies when he got down on one knee."
Wedding Day
"We had so much fun! We kept our wedding small with around 60 guests. We wanted the wedding to feel intimate, and to be able to spend genuine time with the people we love. We said 'I do' on the top of Beartooth Pass with all of our favorite people, and our favorite pups. Afterwards, we came down to Drew’s family cabin and ate delicious food and listened to some funky beats. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day." -Shannon, the bride
