Stunning Eastern Montana Wedding | Taylore + Monte

"Monte and I met in the fall of 2016. I was freshly 18, and he was 19. We both ended up at a mutual friend's house one night where I was immediately interested in him! I told our mutual friend to put in a good word, and shortly after he did, Monte left, so I was sure he was not interested. A few months later we met again and started talking, and I later found out that there was another girl with my name at the party that night that he wasn’t interested in so he had just left all together! After we had hung out a few times alone we decided to be exclusive in November of 2016 and have been together since! In 2019, at my older sister's wedding, Monte asked my dad for my hand in marriage. Monte planned to propose to me in March of 2020 in Jamaica. He had a whole candle lit dinner with a butler planned ... and then Covid happened and we had to postpone our trip to November of 2020. Right before our trip, Monte’s parents tested positive for Covid so we couldn't travel and had to postpone again – this time until 2023. Instead of waiting until Jamaica, Monte decided to propose to me in Arizona in the beginning of 2021 – it was an easy yes for me!

Our wedding day went so smoothly and fast! I’m a fairly anxious person so I was so worried I would spend the day full of anxiety and stress, but I was the opposite. I felt so calm and excited all day, like my brain just knew this was a moment that absolutely didn’t need stress or anxiety. We opted for a small intimate ceremony with a large reception and I am so glad we did! We really couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day; there were no bumps in the road, the weather was beautiful, and we had the best people with us." – Taylore, the bride
