Inspiration Behind the Design
Laura Viren of Lulu Pottery has said, “those drawn to ceramics are seeking an experience,” and that was the core inspiration behind this elopement-style picnic. With this shoot, we wanted to capture a sense of timeless romanticism; a sort of "French Country meets Montana Mountains." Lulu Pottery’s whimsical teacups offer a glimpse into another time and place, yet combined with the ruggedness of a repurposed barn door and snowcapped mountain backdrop brings to life the dichotomy that is Montana. Montana is a place of great beauty and strength, but is equally precious and delicate. It is a place of romance and a place of adventure. The colorful design of the letterpress invitations, handcrafted silversmith jewelry, and the sweet temptations of pastries made this spring-inspired shoot come together. –Honeyseed Photo & Film
