Stunning florals in a dreamy sunset palette set the stage for a luxurious summer wedding at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake. Joshua + Emilee exchanged vows on a gorgeous summer day in Montana. Photography by Jennifer Mooney Photography.

"Our story began in November of 2018 in Nebraska. We crossed paths thanks to my maid of honor. It was your typical 'love will find you when you stop looking' moment, as I was getting ready to move seven hours away for a new job. Despite the distance, we didn’t skip a beat and seven months later, decided to jump in feet first! Summer of 2019, we both packed up and moved to Dallas, Texas, with no clue what was to come. Two houses and three huskies later, we created our home in Texas!"
Wedding Day
"Surrounded by our closest friends and family, ourselves and fifty guests traveled in from all over the country for our big day. Having only our very large immediate family and our wedding party in attendance really allowed for us to enjoy the entire day and have fun at our wedding.
'Why Montana?' We got this question a lot, and we would respond, 'Why destination weddings at the beach? We are mountain people!' We have visited Montana several times and have fallen in love with the state. We've created and experienced a lot of great memories in Montana and it will always be near and dear to our hearts." -Emilee, the bride
